My name is Luc Mairesse and I’ve been taking photos since the age of 10. My first camera was an Agfa Click! I remember it like it was yesterday. Since then, my interest in photography has never waned, and today it’s become a real passion. Whatever the people I meet or the regions I visit, I like to blend in with the surroundings, and let myself be moved by the natural beauty of people and the depth of their gaze. That’s what moves me most.

So much for my approach. In terms of equipment, I rely on the famous yellow brand and its phenomenal Z9 and a few lenses ranging from 20 to 500mm, of which my favourite is without doubt the Z 70-200 mm 2.8 with its exceptional sharpness.

I like to shoot tight shots with maximum sharpness, despite the fact that portrait photographers prefer softer renderings.
