En me promenant dans les rues, j’ai souvent été interpellé par des passants me demandant de les prendre en photo. La première fois, j’ai continué mon chemin, comme si de rien n’était, mais ensuite j’ai décidé de jouer le jeu. J’ai voulu regrouper plusieurs portraits qui ont été photographié pendant mes séjours en Inde. Ces portraits montrent la diversité des gens qui habitent et qui vivent en Inde. Derrière ces visages ce sont des histoires, des vécus, des futurs totalement différents… Je vous partage les portraits de personnes qui ont décidé de partager un peu de leur histoire à travers mon appareil photo.
Walking along the streets, I’ve often been approached by passers-by asking me to take their picture. The first time, I went on my way, as if nothing had happened, but then I decided to play along. I wanted to bring together several portraits that I had photographed during my stays in India. These portraits show the diversity of the people who live in India. L'INDE DE LA SPIRITUALITE ET DES LéGENDES
Voilà un autre aspect du pays qui m’a particulièrement marqué. Tout d’abord, les religions sont omniprésentes et composent une atmosphère comme nulle part ailleurs. L’Inde, ce n’est pas uniquement des Hindous, mais aussi de nombreux Musulmans, Chrétiens, Jaïns, Bouddhistes, Sikhs… Ce qui résulte en un inénarrable méli-mélo de temples en tous genres, d’autels et d’offrandes à tous les coins de rue, de cérémonies dont nous ne comprenons ni les tenants, ni les aboutissants. Une plongée dans un monde stupéfiant, déboussolant, ensorcelant, inquiétant, parfois même amusant.

This is another aspect of the country that particularly impressed me. First of all, religions are omnipresent, creating an atmosphere like nowhere else. India is not just a country of Hindus, but also of Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs… The result is an incredible mishmash of temples of all kinds, altars and offerings on every street corner, ceremonies whose ins and outs we don’t understand. It’s a plunge into a world that’s astonishing, bewildering, bewitching, disturbing and sometimes even amusing.
